THANK YOU FOR VISITING US…..

The Iraq War is a costly war.. Close to 50 service members from Tennessee have given their lives in this effort. 20 Volunteer’s from East Tennessee have lost their lives, so far. The Iraq War is a costly war.

East Tennessee Fallen Soldiers, Inc was formed out of necessity. I had to do something. One of the 20 is my son, SSG Victoir Patric Lieurance. In my search to "do something", I found the Battlefield Cross, shown on the right, on a website for families of servicemen killed in action. After much research, I found it to be a fitting Tribute. It was a symbol of the sacrifice my son had made.

I had an idea that all of the proud and brave East Tennessee Volunteers should be given the same symbol of their sacrifice’s. I contacted a couple of friends, Chip Gregory and Dan Fitzpatrick , who immediately joined me. I sought out Kim Harrison, one who knows the pain of the families, as she is the mother of PFC Daniel Harrison who was killed in action. She immediately accepted my request to join. My other son, Hank, wanted to help by being the Webmaster and created this site.

Our goal is to place one of these statues in every cemetery, hometown or other site as wished for by the family of all 20 Heroes. We will walk step by step with them to accomplish this fitting Tribute.

We will also place a Battlefield Cross statue in Knoxville or at the University of Tennessee campus as a community tribute to these Volunteers. At the present time we are working with both groups to find a suitable site to place the statue.

PLEASE check out the other area’s of our site… Email or drop us a line and let us know what you think or if you have an idea.

Again... Thank You for visiting

Andre Lieurance
